@History_at_UALR: Phi Alpha Theta, the honor society for History students at UALR, will be volunteering at the Clinton Presidential Library this semester and would love to have your help!! The library has a new exhibit coming September 17 and has partnered with the Secretary of States office to set up several voting booths in the museum lobby on Saturdays from 10 am-2 pm to demonstrate to children how actual voting takes place. Kids will be voting on their favorite type of ice cream and the library will be throwing an ice cream party supplied with the winning flavor of ice cream in November!   They have offered to throw a special pizza party and training session just for volunteers from UALR on Wednesday, September 8th at 4:30 pm at the Clinton Library. Hope you can attend!!!   Dates they need volunteers are:   September 18, 25 October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 November 6, 13, or 20  If you would like to volunteer any time from 10 am-2 pm on any of these dates please contact Jennifer Pierce at jlpierce@ualr.edu  or (501) 213-6369 and she will sign you up!
